een mooie schrijfopdracht.

Lees goed wat er wordt gevraagd en volg de stappen 1 tot

en met 7.
Je werkt op dit blad. In Teams kan elke leerling zijn eigen
document bewerken. Daarna lever je het in.

Je krijgt er een beoordeling voor, dus doe goed je best en

laat vooral bij stap 7 je fantasie de vrije loop 😉

THE ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS PRESENT!
It’s Christmas morning. You wake up, go downstairs, and under the tree… is the present
you’ve always wanted!

1. What does the present look like?

Write a list of adjectives (bijvoeglijke naamwoorden)
to help describe its appearance.
e.g. shiny, large, mysterious.

2. You go over to the present.

Write a list of adverbs (bijwoorden) to help describe
how you approach it.
e.g. excitedly, carefully, quickly.

3. You pick up the present and give it a shake.

What does it sound like? Write a simile to describe it.
e.g. it rattles like a rusty car engine.

4. Now, start to unwrap the present.

What does the paper feel like as you take it
off? Use a metaphor to describe it.
e.g. the paper is a crackling bonfire

5. How do you feel when you see what’s
inside? Describe your emotions.

6. What’s inside the present?

Describe your ultimate Christmas present!

7. Now you need to put all your ideas together to write a Christmas
poem. E.g.
The Ultimate Christmas Present
I see a large, mysterious present sitting underneath
the tree. Excitedly, I walk towards it and carefully
pick it up.
I give it a shake. It rattles like a rusty car engine.
The paper is a crackling bonfire as I peel it off.
I am shocked. I am stunned. I am
speechless. It’s a shiny new laptop!
