Letter of Declaration

I, Ram Chandra Regmi, permanent resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Ward No. 18,
Chitwan, Bagmati province, Nepal had completed my Year 12 in 2013. At that time, I am quite
interested in joining Bachelor of Medicine. But, studying medicine in Nepal is too much
expensive. The only the option to study medicine for free is to get good merit rank in the medical
entrance examination. The medical entrance examination for scholarship is very competitive,
where nearly 10,000 students used to be appeared in the entrance exam. However, the available
scholarship quotas are only about 250-300. I could not get success to get good merit rank in the
entrance of medicine in December, 2013. So, I decided to prepare entrance exam for next year. I
prepare throughout the time for entrance exam. Unfortunately, I could not reserve my seat for
scholarship at the entrance of medicine in 2014 too. Since my brother was graduate in
Agriculture, he convinced me to join the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at Agriculture and
Forestry University (AFU). Then, I decided to join Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2014.

I would like to mention that my brother (Rajendra Regmi) is at paid study leave from Agriculture
and Forestry University (AFU) and he is currently at Australia for his Doctor of Philosophy
program.
