How to Learn a New Language

1. Set a goal. You will become constantly disciplined while learning when you have a goal.

2. Practice. You will never ever reach a destination if you won’t start a move. No matter how many
videos, audios or theories on swimming, you won’t learn if you don’t actually get in the water and
swim.

3. Enhance Accent. Listen to native speakers on the use of the language, use dictionary, listen to music
for pronunciation and keep trying until you get there.

4. Make friends. Have friends who actually speaks the language and speak with them.

5. Don’t get frustrated. No matter why you’re not getting it, don’t get desperate. Keep moving.

6. Make Spanish Labels. Be expose to words and expressions by labeling or placing stickers on
areas of your house.

7. Think of Spanish. Push yourself to converse with yourself and think in Spanish. Talk to yourself in
Spanish.

8. Use circumlocution and contextualization. If you forget of the name of a thing, just name it by
context. Describe the thing.

9. Immerse yourself to the language. Do not just read a chapter of a Spanish book, read the
whole book.
