T: That’s great! Let me ask you a question!

T: Have you ever had to move? Change houses?

S: ...

T: What might lead someone to go house-hunting?(tblára)

S: ...

T: Everyone has special requirements when looking for a new house.

T: Please together with a deskmate agree with 5 requirements you’d have when looking for a new home.

T: You have 3 minutes for this

S: ...

Ask them to open their exercise books. this is a topic on several exams, when you do an activity like this,
you always have to collect ideas at the end and write the best and most useful ones down, so that they
can ’learn’ them. Do that now, too, please!. And you, as their teacher, have to be prepared with at least
5 ideas, in case they don’t have any. you always have to be prepared in these speaking activities!

SO, please write down 5 of your own ideas.

T: My requirements would be the following: I’d need big windows, a nice scenery, good phone signal
everywhere in the house, I want to have stores and a pharmacy nearby and a garage to keep my cars in.

T: Can XX and YY tell me what their requirements would be?

S: ....

T: Those are great ideas! Please put this and that down in your notebooks!

T: Thank you all very much! Please open your books on page 25.
T: This text has several mistakes. Some of the LINES contain words that are not supposed to be there
because it either doesn’t fit with the meaning of the text, or it’s not grammatically correct.

T: Be very careful when solving this task.

T: Rather than going line by line, go sentence by sentence.

T: If you find a mistake put it at the end of the line but if the specific line doesn’t have a mistake, put a
tick instead. Okay?

T: Can XX repeat the task back to me please?

S: ...

T: Thank you. You’re going to work alone, you’ll have 5 minutes to complete the task.

T: Let’s look at the first one together.

T: When you’re done We’re checking it together.
