Updating the Firmware on Zebra Value and Performance Class

Card Printers
1. Download the firmware (.bin) file from www.zebra.com under Support and Downloads
2. Access the Firmware Download section in the printer’s Driver:
a. From Windows XP: Go to Start> Settings> Printers and Faxes. Right click on
your printer driver and select Properties> Device Settings> F/W Download>

b. From Windows 7: Go to the Windows Icon> Devices and Printers. Right click
on your printer driver and select Printer Properties> Device Settings> F/W
Download > Properties

3. Click the Select File button and locate your firmware (.bin) file.
4. Once selected, click Start Firmware Download.
5. The printer will update and restart once complete.

Important: Do not turn off the power to the printer until the process is done and the LCD
displays “READY”. If the download process is interrupted, the printer will not operate.

6. This completes the firmware upgrade process.
