This book is about Xavier, an angel sent to Earth, and his mortal human, Bethany, have been to

hell and back. But their love is put to the test when they defy heavenly law and marry. They don't
tell Bethany's archangel siblings, Gabriel and Ivy, but the angels soon find out, and the punishment
comes in terrifying form: The Sevens (this punishment seeks to strip the wings off any angel who
breaks any rule set by the supreme God), Gabriel and Ivy who are fallen angels bent on keeping
Bethany and Xavier apart, destroying Gabriel and Ivy and obscuring angelic power in the heavens.
The only way Bethany and Xavier can elude The Sevens is to hide in the open air and mingle with
other mortals their age. Gabriel and Ivy set them up at the university, where they cannot reveal
their relationship, and where there is still danger around every corner.

ALEXANDRA ADERNETTO

Australian author Alexandra Adornetto grew up studying in numerous Melbourne schools and
began writing her first young adult novel, The Shadow Thief, when she was just 13 years old. Two
years later she got it published by one of the world's leading publishers, Harper Collins. She
currently combines writing with her studies while trying to carve out a career as an actress under
the name Alexandra Grace.

After the success of her first book, Adornetto continued writing and has published six novels so far,
making the leap to the international market after the success of Halo, a trilogy that has been
translated into several languages, including Spanish, and which is rumored to receive an upcoming
film adaptation.

PURPOSE OF THE STORY

This is based on the fact that not everything is totally black and white, but there is always another
way to get what one needs, either believing in heaven and hell, there are people who do believe, I
personally do not, but that does not mean that I have the right answer nor those who believe
either, of course. All beliefs and opinions have to be respected, since everyone is free to think and
act as he/she understands he/she has to at every step of his/her life.

THEMES OF THE STORY

Ambition: When Ivy and Gabriel are determined to keep Xavier and Bethany apart.

Justice: This is when the celestial army, called the Seventh Order, who follow their own ideas of
what is right, take justice into their own hands.

Sacrifice: When Xavier decides to stay with Bethany, taking the punishment of death by taking
responsibility for having fallen in love with her.
PLOT OF THE STORY

As Xavier and Bethany again unleash the wrath of heaven through an innocent act that is getting
married but that will bring new and more serious consequences for both of them. This time the
Seventh Order, a celestial army that follows the basis of taking justice into their own hands
descends from the heavens to finish them off for such an insurrection, so they have to flee far
away, abandon their old life and start a new one away from everything they know.

CHARACTERS

XAVIER: Angel who cares for bethany and fights for her to keep her safe and by her side.

BETHANY: An ordinary girl who has suffered for many years of her life but with Xavier her life
improves to some extent.

IVY AND GABRIEL: Fallen angels who try to separate Xavier and Bethany as revenge for them not
being able to be together.

THE SEVEN ORDER: A group of angels who give the cruelest punishments if any of the angels break
any of the rules.

THE PROBLEM OF THE STORY

the problem in this story is when xavier is assigned to the human that he must take care of in this
case bethany and he falls in love with her but according to the laws of heaven that is completely
forbidden. Although in the end the solution to this is that xavier by his own will they make him
choose between dying or becoming human but not remembering anything of his life as an angel
but even so they meet and end up getting married.

LIKE PART

The part I liked the most was where xavier and bethany got to know each other even when xavier
stopped being the angel that took care of her, it was like destiny had to bring them together.

RECOMMENDED

I recommend this book because it is very interesting, it's like reading and reading and you can't
