Dear valued customers,
The knowledge that my previous letter upset some of our customers has come to light from
several sources, so I would like to take this opportunity to make up for my mistakes and work
with my team to present a thorough action plan. The following are the steps in the plan:
1. Every automobile including those that are in perfect working order will nevertheless be
subjected to the recall as a precaution.
2. A temporary halt in the production of new models until the accelerator issue has been fully
resolved.
3. In the event that a recall of the chosen vehicles is not feasible, certain inspections will be
conducted door to door.
We would like to extend our sincere apologies on behalf of the Toyota Group and take the
necessary steps to ensure that our customers receive the highest levels of service and safety.
