WORKERSCOMP MODERNIZATION AUG 2021 – MAY-2022 CLIENTS LIVE PROJECT

Project Description: Workers Compensation Legacy modernization (includes complete

migration of the Preadjudication process and Adjudication Engine which is currently
being processed in legacy Stratus application into a new Spring-boot based Cloud
Adjudication Engine. Adjudication process is responsible for tracking patient
eligibility, calculating network pharmacy reimbursement rates, controlling refill
requests, enforcing formularies, and allowing for prior authorization overrides
etc.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Read and analyze the requirements from user
stories. • Worked on MYSQL to introduce new tables and update already existing
tables and performed multiple operations. • Implemented logic to read file from
Network File System (NFS) and process the data. • optimized code to efficiently
process millions of records to submit them to the database based on implemented
logic. • Developed reusable batch processes based on spring batch to submit
millions of records to database. • Developed Restful API’s to migrate data and
return appropriate responses based on incoming requests. • Performed Junit testing
to test and validate the code changes appropriately. • Performed copybook
analysis to introducing new tables to database with self-explanatory names. •
Connected with Stratus team to cross create/verify SQL
