Report 1 : Iot-based safe distance detector to

watching screen
Watching screen can be a necessity for the community and some people assume
that watching screen at home can improve their quality of life. The eyes focus on the
screen, so the eye muscles will become tense. the risk of eye pain is much greater so there
needs to be equipment or detectors that can inform the safe distance for watching
television.
we need to position the body properly so that our eyes can stay safe while watching
screen. Several studies on the detection of the distance of people watching screen have
been widely carried out.

Report 2 : Components for safe screen detector

In this research, we designed and built a distance-safe detector for watching screen
consisting of components :- LED, ultrasonic sensor, arduino uno, Combo of 3 type Jumper
Cables, servo, and the buzzer to produce a sound when the detector detects an insecure
distance to watch screen.\

Report 3 : Information about components used

ULTRASONIC SENSOR :- Ultrasonic sensor is a sensor that works based on the
principle of the reflection of sound waves where this sensor produces sound waves which
then catch it back with time difference as the base of its detection.
ARDUINO UNO :-Arduino UNO is a low-cost, flexible, and easy-to-use
programmable open-source microcontroller board that can be integrated into a variety of
electronic projects. This board can be interfaced with other Arduino boards, Arduino shields,
Raspberry Pi boards and can control relays, LEDs, servos, and motors as an output.
 LED :-A light-emitting diode is a semiconductor device that emits light when an
electric current flows through it. When current passes through an LED, the electrons
recombine with holes emitting light in the process.

BUZZER :- A buzzer or beeper is an audio signaling device, which may be

mechanical, electromechanical, or piezoelectric (piezo for short). Typical uses of buzzers
and beepers include alarm devices, timers, train and confirmation of user input such as a
mouse click or keystroke.
SERVO :- Servo motors or “servos”, as they are known, are electronic devices and
rotary or linear actuators that rotate and push parts of a machine with precision. Servos are
mainly used on angular or linear position and for specific velocity, and acceleration.
JUMPER CABLES :- Jumper cables, booster cables, or jumper leads (all three terms
describe the same product), let you get a jump start of your dead car battery. The cables
connect the battery of a running car to the battery of your dead (won't-start) car.
