Life and Works of Rizal

I.

1. The moth represented of that story is a mother moth who loves her son so much, and a brave. The
mother moth reprimanded her son not to go to the fire but the son continue to go to the fire.
2. Yes it is connected to Rizal’s life. The light represented in the story reflect to Rizal’s life, because
the light represented as the enemy of Rizal with his goal.
3. The story of Gamo-Gamo also reflects the patriotism and nationalism in Rizal’s time. Like the
young moth didn’t listen to his mother but to continue where he enlightened of the fire, and the
moth has full of illusions. Like in Rizals’s time, Rizal is very brave he continue to fight of his goal
although he has many enemies and he’s not intimidated to them.

II.
1. Rizal trying to say to Marciano about his letter is, one day he can avenge to those victims of
cruelty and it will be written to his works like books.
2. Yes. Because when the time he write his own feelings about the happenings during Spaniards
time, the Spaniards are anti-Rizal because in the written work of Rizal, people can know how
the Filipinos was abused by the Spaniards.
