Life and Works of Rizal

I.
1. While writing this poem, Rizal felt love for our country and patriot. He encourages the readers how
our land loved by Filipinos and never be forsaken.
2. Rizal’s purpose in travelling to other land is to study and share to them how our land is loved by
Filipinos.
3. For that Filipinos who love their land, will never be forsaken of where they started.

II.
1. “The furrow is ready and the ground is not sterile” this line Rizal hope for the peace for our land
and the people in our land have a peace of mind because the Spaniards abused Filipinos that time.
Rizal hope for a better and happy native land.
2. It explains that our native land should continue to imitate only the precious example of the spain
given to our native land.
3. The aim of propaganda movement is for the total assimilation of the Philippines as a province of
Spain, and not mere colony. The revolutionaries aim is for the total independence of the Philippines
from Spain.
