Have you ever seen a plane that travels by plane?  Do you know how large aircraft parts are
transported? We present the Airbus Beluga XL.

The Beluga XL was developed by Airbus and has two Rolls-Royce Trent Seven Hundred turbofan
engines, generating seventy-one thousand pounds of thrust each. The maximum speed of the
Beluga Xl is seven hundred and seventy-eight kilometers per hour.

At sixty-three meters in length, the aircraft is the equivalent of two blue whales.

its autonomy is four thousand kilometers, it has a capacity for twenty-three thousand eight
hundred liters of fuel and its maximum load capacity is fifty-one tons, which is equivalent to the
weight of seven adult elephants.

It offers the largest cargo track cross-section of any current aircraft at eight meters wide.

The aircraft is designed to transport large Airbus aircraft parts from different production facilities
in Europe such as France and Germany. the plane can also easily carry wings from different
aircraft.

The beluga XL has a wingspan of forty five which helps take off and landing, with a height of
eighteen meters. The aircraft is operated by 2 pilots and a loadmaster.

The price of this great aircraft is one hundred and ninety-eight million dollars.

The first flight of the Beluga XL was made in July Two thousand and eighteen and it began service
in January two thousand twenty.
