BANKSY

Banksy was born in Bristol (1974) it’s an english writer and artist, considerate one of the
greatest street artists, whose true identity is still unknown. His works are often comic and
deal with politics and culture.

His most famous graffiti is “The child with a balloon”. It represents a little girl who has just
escaped a red and heart-shaped balloon. The work is completed with an inscription at the
bottom “There is always hope”

Intervention in the West Bank

This structure, as established in 2004, is contrary to international law, and this prompted
Banksy to physically intervene on the wall with a total of nine works along the perimeter of
the structure. The subjects depicted are for the most part who don’t want to succumb to the
barrier.
