1. How can you say “no” to someone without offending the person? Explain.
I can say “no” to someone without offending him/ her by remaining calm when I’m talking.
Never say any words that might offend her/him that would sounds like I’m not just interested
and I’m just making myself excused. I’ll respect her/him if they’re disappointed because that’s
normal when someone’s rejecting us and I’ll clarify myself about why I’m saying “no”.
2. What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of indirect communication?
3. How do you cope with people having different cultures? Depend your answer.
I coped up with people having different cultures by trying and getting to know more about their
cultural backgrounds not by asking them directly but learning to understand and accept their
own uniqueness and differences.
It means that the world is considered as a single community in which telecommunications link
the inhabitants together. It’s a way to express the constituting relationship between economics
and other social sciences through the world. The world regarded on having as a single
community by the effects of mass media, rapid travel and electronic communications.
English Language is important as multicultural language because it’s commonly used language
across the world. Countries in Southeast Asia preferred it on conducting business. While
bilingual people are employable in a world where the workplace is becoming multicultural. It
means that career opportunities for those who learned to speak this universal tongue suddenly
open up. And although there is wide availability of information on the internet, a large
percentage are in English. In our life, one might be access on news to entertainment and if we
knows that language then it’ll be easier for us to understand it.
