Why Is understanding cultural variability important?

Before we ask the question 1st what is cultural variability it the characteristics of a
particular culture what are their beliefs principles values and what not and now lets
answer the question understanding of cultural variability is important because we must
remember that not everyone of us has the same religion ethnicity or culture there are a
lot of variations of culture ethnicity that our fingers cannot simply count through cultural
variability we are able to understand each other’s culture or judge them through the way
of ethnocentrism and cultural relativism what is ethnocentrism is described as
evaluating or judging a person’s habit belief etc. based on your own culture belief
religion and more and
what about cultural relativism? Cultural relativism is actually the most important in my
opinion because “it is the ability to understand a culture on its own terms and not to
make judgements using the standards of ones one culture” - socialsci.libretexts.org and
by understanding cultural relativism we can avoid any form of discrimination whatever
form it maybe race ethnicity or culture
