I. Rationale

Oplan Kalusugan sa Department of Education (OK sa DepEd) facilitates the provision

of basic primary medical and dental care to learners to allow them to attain their full
educational potential. It also aims to promote and provide all learners and DepEd
personnel with a sustainable holistic school health and nutrition program towards healthier
behaviors and better learning outcomes. In South President Quirino District, is a must to
capacitate school administrators and coordinators on this matter to strategically follow its
mandate.

II. Program Objectives

a. Present clearly the different guidelines and strategies in the implementation of
the Oplan Kalusugan sa DepEd’s 6 flagship programs.
b. Build awareness among all school implementers on their respective roles and
functions for the success of program implementation.
c. Intensifying collaboration and linkages with our school technical working
groups, parents and other stakeholders for the success implementation of the
different school health programs.
