Workshop on

“WEBOC (Web Based One Customs)"

Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA), in collaboration with
Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PHMA), is pleased to
announce seminar on above cited subject.

DESCRIPTION / OBJECTIVE
As we know that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has introduced its Web Based One
Customs (WEBOC) System for filing Goods Declarations (GDs) etc. and online clearance
of imports and exports. Understanding about WEBOC, a standard and mandatory
platform for clearance of import and export documents, is equally important for
importers, exporters and clearing agents to make them self-sufficient in successfully
managing their import and export related issues and keep themselves aware about the
exact position of their goods and articles during the course of Customs Clearance.
Through subject training program, importers and exporters may be able to make their
imports and exports cost effective by reducing dependency on clearing agents.

Therefore, this Session has been designed to help SMEs to:

 Gain understanding of the WEBOC system for import and export.
 Learn about requirements and procedure of registration and online filing of
documents under WEBOC system
 Learn about Goods Declaration and its type
 Learn about calculating duties, taxes and rebates on import and export Broacher
