Introduction
The Advertisers Footy Fans online survey was hosted on
theadvertiser.com.au for 32 days from Fri 16th June until Mon
17th July 2006.
The questionnaire was based upon last years online Footy Fans
survey and was modified to include questions that were relevant
this season.
Some of the issues explored by the survey included:
Attendance at AFL and SANFL fixtures
Best players in the AFL as judged by the public
Best and worst coaches
Performance of the AFL in season 2006
Favourite TV and radio commentators
Performance of umpires
This report presents the results in the same order as asked in the
questionnaire. We received 3,893 unduplicated (and non-blank)
responses which was 16% up on last years 3,363 unduplicated
non-blank responses.
