The Stix is a modular probe holding system that can be used to create a custom scanner for
any type of inspection. The system employs modular “building blocks” that are interchange-
able and can be used to assemble a variety of different probe configurations. The Stix is com-
pletely configurable for both phased array and traditional UT with single or multiple probes.

Features
▪▪ Modular Design: Using components from various Jireh
product families, any STIX system can be quickly config-
ured for many different scanning requirements.
▪▪ Brake system: A park brake is provided to hold the scan-
ner in any desired location.
▪▪ Wheels: The magnetic wheels are coated with urethane
to prevent foreign debris from hindering smooth rolling of
the scanner. The magnetic attraction may be increased by
adding additional wheels.
▪▪ Encoder: Each Stix system includes a spring loaded en-
coder module to ensure accurate positioning. The encoder
output is fully compatible with all standard instruments.
