ACTIVITY PLAN

Activity: TEACHERS’ DAY 2022


Theme: “The Transformation of Education begins with Teachers.”

Objectives:
1. Commemorate the introduction of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO.
2. Acknowledge the tireless effort of college faculty members in this time of uncertainties.
3. Show high appreciation and recognition of the faculty members hard work in optimization of
QTIME.
Date: October 5, 2022
Time: 3:30 – 5:00 PM
Venue: Infront of Mother Ignacia Building

RATIONALE:
Commemorate the introduction of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO recommendations concerning status
of teachers, that acknowledge their contribution of the modernization of society and declared
education as a fundamental human right. In addition, celebrating world teachers’ day is hugely
important to show teachers that their hard work is highly acknowledged and appreciated.

Provisions:
1. On Monday, a box of appreciation will be placed outside the office of the college dean for
the students to anonymously give their letter of appreciation to their teacher.
2. The letters will then be placed in an envelope for the YES club and hand it over to the
particular teacher.
3. On October 5, spearheaded by the SSC, a small celebration will take place in front of the
Mother Ignacia Building:
4. Students will offer a song for the faculty members – the SYA will lead the performance:
officers of both academic and interest clubs are required to join the harana.
5. At the end of the performances, the SSC will hand tokens to each of the faculty member.
6. YES officers will then give roses and letter of appreciation for each of the faculty member:
7. Later in the program, students shall can present their gifts and surprises.
8. A small gathering will be held at the canteen area.
