Total Physical Responses.

Advantages : 1. It is fun, especially for the little ones

2. Helps to remember
3. It is a good activity for those students who learn best through actions and
observation and for those who prefer to be on the move.
4. It works both hemispheres of the brain
Disadvantages :
It is not designed for the comprehensive approach because it represents a set of
ideas rather than a complete approach.
2. When the students become more advanced, it becomes more difficult to give
other commands, it is more useful for the first and second year students.
3. Very little emphasis on precision
4. Can become very repetitive.
Task-based learning Advantages
1. Students tend to be active and participate with high motivation towards tasks
and activities in an environment.
2. It provides a platform for learners to showcase their skills through their efforts
and develop them further.
3. Language learners work and cooperate with each other in groups, which
creates bonds between them.
Disadvantage
1. Overemphasizes tasks and communicating meaning and this could have an
impact on how to use language with the correct form.
2. There is no acquisition of new grammatical or vocabulary features.
3. Everything is left to the teacher
4. Not all students are or will be motivated by TBLT.
5. Some students need more guidance and cannot "notice" language forms
(grammar) or other elements of accuracy.
Communicative language teaching
Advantages
1. Through this approach, learners develop the functions of language, i.e., their
speaking ability evolves further.
2. It gives much importance to the experiences of the students (their daily life) to
practice and thus achieve in them a better performance of the language.
3 . It is possible to work in pairs, groups, etc., activities that promote or stimulate
speaking fluency.
Disadvantages
1. The teachers do not know its usefulness to the maximum, that is to say, they
do not take advantage of what it offers them, causing many times a rare interpretation of
the same one. 2. It is an approach with a very general teaching and dimension, it does
not have clearly defined practices.
3. And it does not have a theory that explains it more carefully.
