Designed Aircraft (AEYROILS-6)

The foundation of the aircraft is in line with an existing aircraft that

possesses certain profile that exactly suits the design requirements. The
proponents chose ACS 100-Sora as its based aircraft since it highly met the
design requirements.

Requirements:

• The aircraft shall only fall under fixed gear-normal and utility category.
• The aircraft’s wing plan form shall be a straight tapered low wing
cantilever monoplane.
• The aircraft’s landing gear shall be a fixed-conventional tricycle type
wherein it should not be retractable at any time.
• The aircraft shall have a seating capacity of one or two passenger seats
side by side.
• The aircraft shall use reciprocating engine/piston engine as its engine.
• The aircraft’s weight shall not exceed at 2,000 pounds.
• The aircraft power loading shall not be greater than 14 horsepower and
less than 12 horsepower
• The aircraft’s wing loading shall be around 12-14 pound per square foot
in light aircraft, 15-18 pound per square foot in agricultural aircraft and
20-25 pound per square foot in military aircraft.
• The aircraft can only accommodate not greater than 170 pounds of the
passenger’s weight and not more than 80 pounds of the passenger’s
baggage.
• The aircraft can only carry 6 pounds over gallon of oil.
• The aircraft can only carry 7.5 pounds over gallon of fuel.
• The aircraft’s aspect ratio shall be around 6.01-7.50 (light to heavy).
• The aircraft’s propeller ground clearance shall not be less than 7 inches.
