GETTING READY FOR IELTS SPEAKING MODULE CRACKS

Good evening again, it feels so good to be on your screen again this Sunday! Yaay.
So today we are moving from YES TO YAAS and that’s because passing IELTS speaking
module will become easy from now on. I am going to discuss the basics of the speaking section
with you in this video, so do enjoy the flow.
To begin with, to pass IELTS speaking section is not a rocket science. Yes, you heard me right!
but there are certain things you’ll need to put in place.
Let’s start from your registration: ladies and gents, you need to ensure your examination center is
not known for encountering server or network issues.
Don’t be surprised but I have observed through interactions with several individuals that, those
whose center had network problems on the speaking test day do not often get their desired band
score.
Well, this could be the main factor why some find it difficult to actually pass because, with
network problems, they tend to become anxious and lose composure. However, it’s just a
probability. But hey, it could be a cause 100%.

 Secondly,
Be confident on the test day and do not be scared of your examiner. For goodness sake, they are
just humans like you, so CHEERS!
You are likely to speak more fluently if you are calm.
 Thirdly,
Remember, you are required to speak a high level of English language and it all begins from
introducing yourself!
So, instead of saying “MY NAME IS….” use “MY NAME’S…….”. This shows how
comfortable you are with your level of English usage.

 Fourthly,

It’s no news that part one of the speaking module is about your personality, work or better still
something you can relate with well in your activities of daily living.
Condition yourself to answer these questions directly before you begin to paraphrase.
You need to answer the questions please.
Use words like, YES, OF COURSE, ABSOLUTELY, DEFINITELY, NOT etc. to answer
questions that are direct.
For the part two, which is often a form of discussion, do make sure you answer every part of the
question while avoiding repetition of points, phrases and grammars.
Do not speak to fast!
Simply allow your examiner to listen to you.

 Lastly,
Fam, part three could be your panic point.
Whatever you do, DO NOT PANIC!
The questions in part three are abstract and sometimes, you can’t just relate with it.
Understand that no one is testing your truths or lies. Just your grammatical range.
So you don’t have to know the answer, but you can state an opinion.
Say for example, well I don’t know but I believe….
I am not so familiar with this topic but I think…… (state your opinion)
If you can manage through this, you are bound to have your desired band score.
