CAREER OBJECTIVE

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

 Presently working as a Senior engineer – Operation at IMC Limited Gas Storage and
Handling terminal, Kandla Region (Kandla & Pipavav).

 Worked as a Senior engineer – Operation and Maintenance of Mechanized Material

Handling System (ECHP) at IMC Limited Mangalore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Implement/Follow of 5S in work site.

TERMINAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 Commissioned Newly Constructed Double Wall Double Integrated Refrigerated

Storage Tank for Butadiene Gas in Pipavav.
 Monitored Chemical Cleaning of Tanks & Process lines which are newly constructed.
 To ensure safe tank farm operations of Horton Sphere-04 No.s, (capacity of 3000MT)
including loading / unloading of TTs, Export & Import to Marine Carrier.
 Stock accountings, preparing outturn reports, dip memos, stock ledger, throughput,
etc.
 Commissioning & De-commissioning of spheres and sphere box up in-case of change
in grade of cargo.
 Inspection & testing of Cross Country Pipelines, Tanks, Internal Pipelines and Hoses
for safe handling of Liquefied Butadiene Gas.
 Documentation, Maintain Checklist according to ISO format and accounting product
through ARC tankage software.
 Responsible for safe operation of utilities comprising of Refrigeration unit, Nitrogen
plants, Air Compressors, Vapor compressors, Re-liquefaction plant, Thermic Fluid
heaters, Freon compressor, chiller, condenser and cooling towers.
 Equipment Periodic Inspection & B Check maintenance for equipment like Fire
Fighting Engines, Jockey pumps, Deluge Valves, Export pumps, Freon and Air
Compressor etc.,
 Got Adequate knowledge about PT, LT, TT, LD, RADAR & SCADA
 Handling Work Permit System and Fire Fighting System as per OISD.
  Reporting all observations of defects, near misses and incidents that could have or did
compromise health, safety, environment, plant integrity or security.

JETTY OPERATIONS

 Responsible for operations & maintenance at jetty, ensuring safe handling of

Butadiene shipment with Terminal Coordination.
 Coordinating with CHA regarding positioning and berthing of vessels
 Safety checks on vessels and jetty in line with company, international standards of
ISGOTT and OISD norms
 Key meeting with Ship’s Master / Chief Officer regarding cargo operation plans,
executing initial and final cargo/shipping documentation work
 Preparing receipts plans, manpower planning and resource planning for the vessels
receipt.
 Taking care of ullage, sampling and documentation activities of vessel prior to
commencement of pumping and also after loading of vessel for dispatch of cargo.

EXPERIENCE IN ECHP-MHS (Operation and Maintenance)

Worked as a Shift-In Charge - Senior Engineer (O&M) of Mechanized Coal Handling

System at IMC LTD – Dry Cargo Business for External Coal Handling Plant of Udupi Power
Corporation Limited at New Mangalore Port Trust, Mangalore.

OPERATION RESPONSIBILITIES

 Shift In charge for operation and maintenance of External Coal Handling Plant.
 Conducting tool box talk with the contracted labours and equipment operators.
 Prepare vessel operation plan along with vessel.
 Ensure working area clear of all obstructions before commence of vessel.
 Documentation of day to day daily vessel unloading reports, statement of facts, cargo

 Documenting daily reports and analysis on the quality of the plant maintenance
works.
 Yard management for continuous operation.
 Before placement of rack, Ensure the necessary arrangements like equipments (Silo)
are kept to be ready, loading line is cleared, and ensure the wagon fitness for loading.
 Collecting and documenting RRs from railway for the quantity loaded as per In-
motion weighbridge and forwarded to the cargo receivers.
 Cargo re-conciliation on a daily basis.
 Bulk storage with minimum handling loss.

MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

 The job involves allocation of man power for particular jobs and supervises the entire
plant of Maintenance for safe and smooth operations.
 Ensuring the availability of the system should be maximum.
 Planning & scheduling of breakdown and shut down jobs.
  Maintaining daily Work Sheet and keep records.
 Belt replacement and Belt cold and hot joints.
 Pulley lagging
 Maintaining of spare parts and store materials.
