US fail in Afghanistan

The current upside-down situation of Afghanistan forces hundreds of Americans to go back, the
government is concerning over the extrication of Americans from Afghanistan. The states of the
country have been changed by the invasion of the Taliban, this sudden invasion had crumpled the
political situation and now people are running here and there trying to save their lives. From the
past 20 years, America has been struggling to establish its rule in Afghanistan and to eradicate
the Taliban but the sudden turn of event, forces the America to withdraw their soldiers and
troops from the country. America takes the sudden decision of moving out without informing its
allies or people that were involved in struggling from the past 20 years (chotiner, 2021).
US fails badly in Afghanistan because all the policies and the efforts of 20 years proved to be a
complete failure, the Taliban comes in power and establish their control on the government.
They demolished the democratic government and make them leaders by enforcing their own
political rule. They force American to leave their country or else they will take certain actions
against the Americans (Wright, 2021). From the past 20 years, US has been making policies and
taking actions to drive the Taliban out of Afghanistan and they were very proud of their
strategies. American have also established joint allies with other countries like India and other
foreign countries to attack Taliban. American has misuse the military power in counter terrorism
in Afghanistan, hundreds of American soldiers are killed on the border, but they still tried to
bring down the Taliban and it proves to be a major failure.
US initiated the Operation Enduring Freedom that focuses on invasion of Afghanistan and its
main target is the terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden who is responsible for many bomb
attack and is also a head of Al-Qaeda organization which is a terrorist organization. US conduct
the operation to eradicate the organization and to establish military control, initially they succeed
in killing the Osama bin Laden and also stop the activities of Taliban. US conduct different air
strike, they dropped bombs all over the Afghanistan and tries to establish their own interim
government with the help of Afghan allies. Now, the turn of events shows that US is tail standing
on the square one and the things are going back to its previous condition as they were 20 years
back. Nothing has changed because people have started accepting the Taliban rule and they are
following their orders. US presence in Afghanistan brings lot of changes in both countries, US
establish the control and implement its own policies in the country to protect it from the Taliban
and simultaneously they are also empowering their country. US spend a lot of money on
Afghanistan by deploying military, establishing control, and implementing new reforms. Now,
the current state of US shows that all the efforts have gone in vain and instead of spending on
other country, it should try to protect their own country (Wright, 2021). US has been feeling
defeated and is standing on square one position, now it is trying to protect its country from the
attacks of Taliban. The previous incident of 9/11 has shocked the US internally and now they are
protecting itself to avoid repeating of these incidents.
After the reign and control of Taliban in Afghanistan, the US army and militants are forced to
leave the country. Moreover, the US employees working in the ambassy are also trying to go
save their lives and struggling to go back to US. Taliban has given the deadline to America to
extricate their people from the Afghanistan or they will not be held accountable for any actions
happened to them. America in a very distressed state brings their people back home and is now
trying to protect itself from the actions of Taliban. US is always on the target of Taliban as they
both are against each other and were constantly fighting from the past 20 years. In October 2001
US drops bombs and conduct air strike to eliminate all Taliban’s from the Afghanistan and this
causes them to flee to different countries (Wright, 2021). However, they also conduct the
terrorist attack 0on United state and kill three thousand people by destroying the world trade
center. The withdrawal of US from the Afghanistan made it weaker because it brings huge loss
and the efforts of last 20 years have gone in vain. Now, US is making new policies and
implementing the policies of Obama administration to protect itself, it is strengthening itself by
making its army strong, importing more weapons from different countries to protect itself and be
ready for any attack. It makes US look weaker because US is considered as the superpower and
its physical withdrawal portray the negative image of US in front the world (chotiner, 2021). It
seems that US failed to fight with Taliban and is forced to leave the country to save the lives of
its citizens and soldiers, this physical withdrawal also effects on the economic and political
conditions of US. New policies and strategies are made to deal with this ongoing situation and to
strengthen the country to fight any foreign invasion.
