Hello, and welcome to PE 1 – Physical Education and Related Activities! This
Description lesson will guide you about the University where you currently study and familiarize
of the yourself with its nature, vision, mission, and core values. Further, this introductory
lesson will enlighten you about the Commission on Higher Education’s Tertiary
Lesson
Education (CHED) actions and reforms in transitioning Sports Development into the
new normal in light of the flexible learning scheme and as a form of psychosocial
intervention to stay physically fit amid the COVID-19 crisis. Finally, the lesson ends
with a discussion of the course syllabus and the classroom rules that will aid you to
prepare while studying the course.

Learning Outcomes
Intended Students should be able to meet the following intended learning outcomes:
Learning ● orient students about the University;
Outcomes ● familiarize them with its vision, mission, Quality Policy, values, motto, and
hymn; and
● discuss the CHED’s actions and reforms in transitioning Sports Development
into the new normal;
● acquaint them with the course syllabus and classroom rules.

Directions: Reflect on your study of Physical Education and Health in Senior High School in
exactly 140 words. What was your experience in studying it? How effective was your study of the said

In my senior high school, I took four PE subjects. There, I learned that Physical Education is not just
about
Playing sports but how to take care of your physical health. I was even thought how to respond
As a first aid to someone in need. I was thought how to take pulse in an easier way.

Moreover, I learned about the importance of exercising and the correct way of working out, for
example
Is the application of FITT principles to my routine. Before, I just look up on the internet what are the
best
work out for teenagers but after I was thought about the principles, I had my own written up
workout
Routine that I designed. In result to that, I had better results since the routines that I put up is I
know I can and maintain.
