Research Problem:
To determine the effectiveness of Modular Distance Learning to the academic
performance in Filipino of Pagsanghan National High School during the School Year 2021-
2022.

THE PROBLEM
Statement of the Problem:
This study will be conducted to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of
Modular Distance Learning to the learners and how it affects their academic performance
particularly in their Filipino subject during the School Year 2021-2022. Specifically, this
study sought answers to the following questions:
1. How Modular Distance Learning modality affects the learnings of the students in
their Filipino subject?
2. Is there a significant difference in the academic performance in Filipino subject of
the students before and after the implementation of the Modular Distance
Learning?
3. What are the challenges encountered during the Modular Distance Learning
implementation?
(a) By Learners;
(b) Teachers; and
(c) Parents
4. How do they response to the challenges they encountered during the
implementation of the Modular Distance Learning modality?
5. What interventions are made by the teachers and the school in order to address
problems with the Modular Distance Learning specially to monitor the progress
and learnings of the students?
6. Does Modular Distance Learning an effective approach to provide learnings to the
students during the pandemic? Why?
