PRESENTATION

High performance bituminous adhesive and sealant based on bituminous and SBS
elastomers.

USAGE

Adhesive for waterproofing bituminous membrane used for adhesion for roofing,
waterproofing, watertight sealing for joints, including moist surfaces, and even under water.
Use only over joints with no mechanical constraints.
Adheres to virtually any construction material (concrete, wood, steel,…) and plasticizer free
plastics.
Bitumseal forms a smooth and tight layer whilst remaining flexible.

STORAGE

Can be stored for a periode of up to 12 months when stored in a cool (between 5 to 25°C),
dry location and unopened in original packaging.

COMPOSITION

Apply Bitumseal directlyto to cold and clean surfaces that are free of dirt and grease.
Strings of Bitumseal are laid by using ordinary or pneumatic applicator.
Coverage : 310 ml per m² for sealing
310 ml for 10m of jointing (diametre 0,5 cm)
Suitable for use at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
Drying time varies depending on atmospheric conditions , thickness of the applied layer and
the porosity of the materials to be affined.
Immediately after applicatin the glue will have sufficient adhesive power to handle small
loads.
Final adhesion depends on the nature of the surface and sealing method.
When applying over moist surface or under water, the nozzle of the applicator must be in
direct contact with the surface to be treated (prior trial is advised).

COMMENTS
Bitumseal must not be in contact with mineral oils (softening of the product).
Bitumseal can not be painted.
Clean tools with white spirit.
Read the instructions on the packaging carefully and request the health and safety leaflet for
this product, if necessary.
