TRP#1 INDUCTIVE TEACHING

As to what the reporters have dicussed earlier, the inductive teaching strategy is a pupil-centered
method of instruction. Teachers that use the inductive approach of instruction provide students
examples while allowing them to come to their own conclusions. Discussion and, if necessary,
course correction follow this. They also discussed why is there a need to use inductive teaching.
Some examples that they have given was inductive teaching allows students to share their ideas
or knowledge to one another. Students remember information better when it was learned via
experience and self-discovery. They also discussed the advantages and disadvantages of
inductive teaching but I am not going to say it here one by one because it is already discussed by
them.

All throughout the discussion about inductive teaching, I can say that I learned a lot. Especially
as a future educator who needs to apply all of this in the future so we can have a good classroom
environment. It is also helpful for us to sharpen the minds of our students by allowing them to
come to their conclusions based on what we have asked them. It is a big help also that they stated
some disadvantages and advantages so the instructors can improve more while they are teaching
their students.

In conclusion, inductive teaching enhance student’s collaboration and communication skills as

well as encourage them to have a greater self reliance. With the inductive teaching, students are
given more opportunities to think about their answer to the question being asked. Because
students can make mistakes, the inductive teaching approach might not be the most time-
effective way to teach a subject. In the long run, though, it's a great approach to involve pupils'
cognitive processes and analytical skills. Modern educators prefer it because of this.
