Final Commentary by Tashi Özer /
Comentario Final de Tashi Özer
Do the actual practice from beginning to end three times a day on both
days. On the third day, except for the eight-precepts vow, do the entire
practice once. In this way, one perfect Nyungne practice could shut
the door to the three lower realms once and for all. In addition to that,
many great benefits have been described. One should learn about
those benefits from other sources.
This text is written for those ordinary beings who are not capable of
practicing an extensive form of Nyungne practice and for this reason,
from the main practice texts, I have included all the important aspects
of the practice and have made this brief and clear text. At the time of
Atir May Sho Ree Nyungne practice, I, Tashi Özer, composed this text.
May it benefit all beings and bring auspiciousness to everyone.

auspicioso.

Appendix: Guide to Reading the Tibetan Phonetic Transcription
This practice text includes both the original Tibetan (in U-chen script),
as well as a phonetic transcription, in case you wish to read the text
together with the Lama.
Since Tibetan has some sounds that differ from those used in English,
it is useful to consider a few things about how to read the phonetic
version.
- Vowel Sounds
157
- Aspirated vowels:
The letter "o" becomes an umlaut "ö", which does not exist in English,
but can be pronounced by forming an "o" with the lips, and saying an
“eh” at the same time. It is like the sound resulting from the union of
an "oh" with an "eh".
The letter "u" becomes an umlaut "ü", which does not exist in English,
but can be pronounced by forming a "u" with the lips and saying a soft
"ee" at the same time. It is like the sound resulting from the union of a
"u" with an "ee".
158
Additionally, when a letter “e” is followed by an “s” at the end of the
syllable, the sound changes to a long “eh”. This is indicated with an
accent, as: “é”.
159
It is important to mention that there is no standardized system to
phonetically transcribe Tibetan. Here we have used a version which
seeks to facilitate reading and pronouncing Tibetan, for both English-
and Spanish-speaking practitioners.
160
Apéndice: Guía para Leer la Transcripción Fonética Tibetana
- Vocales:

ཨུ U “u”
ཨི E “e”
ཨོ O “o”

162
- Transcripción del Alfabeto Tibetano
163
