We wrapped up VBS 2011 last Friday night and what a great time everyone had. It was an awesome week with more than 80 kids getting closer to Jesus. A big Thanks to all of our volunteer workers, marketplace vendors, set designers, everyone who brought in the supplies we needed, and helped with preparing and serving food. We couldnt have done it without you! God Bless.

There will be a church wide mission trip to West Virginia from Saturday July 30th to August 6th. September 16th - 18th in Orlando We will be partnering with a local Guest include: Casting Crowns, church to help with a number of Kay Arthur, Karen Kingsbury, projects during the week. The NEW Mens Bible Study is just getting started. Our study is Follow Me, Walking with Jesus in everyday life. The cost of the book is $7.00 and available at the meetings. Tomorrow, July 18th we will continue with our current Bible study starting with a Free dinner at 6:30pm. We wrap up around 8 to 8:15pm so, please make plans to come on out. Im excited as we continue to gear up for the mission trip the end of the month. If you are interested in going, please let me know. Were leaving July 30th and will return on August 6th. The cost is $100.00. Also, were planning on attending Rock The Universe this year, which will be Friday September 9th through Sunday September 11th. The cost is $140.00 for the entire weekend. BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT!

Carmen at The JoyFM is once again taking shoes around the world. This year shes going to Honduras. Wed like for FBC Midway to collect 300 NEW shoes for her to take with her. We mainly need childrens sizes, but some adult sizes will help too. They must be closed toed, no heels, tennis shoes and work type shoes. If you dont want to shop, cash is okay too.
