My childhood memories

Childhood Memories are the sweetest memories of childhood days. One can hardly forget them wether pleasant
or painful .

Now I am fourteen. I am a fourth year middle school pupil. I often look back to my childhood days and try to
gather joy from the sweet happy recollection.I live with my family which consists of my parents, myself, my sweet
sister and my sweet grandmother. My grandmother was very dear to me. She would take great care of me and tell
nice fairy-tales. I, with my friends used to catch some game birds like the dove, the pigeons and make a grand feast.
In the rainy season we would often make the journey by boat. I had my early education at the village primary school.
I could not forget the very first day at that school. My heart began to beat fast when I was taken to the headmaster.
But his smiling face and gentle word put me at my ease. I could not forget some of my friends.

Really the sweet memories of those days still fill my heart with immense joy. I wish I could go back to those
charming days again.

One can hardly forget one’s childhood memories whether pleasant or painful. A variety of things happened in my
childhood days, but I remember very few of them. I remember the happy days with my parents. I often played with
my mother. She was my best friend and companion. My education began with a picture book. I was about six years
old when I was admitted to the school. My father took me to school for admission into class I. All the children were
lined up for the interview. After some time a teacher called my name. I entered the room and he asked me some
questions. After answering, he enrolled my name and sent me to the classroom. I became nervous as all the children
were unknown to me. But within a short time, I found a boy who was our neighbor. It gave me courage. Then we
talked and sat on the same bench. Then the teacher entered the room. When he started talking, I felt fine. The
teacher was very friendly. When I remember the day, I feel that if I were a child again.

Childhood is such a golden time that we can’t forget anytime. Every people remember and miss their
childhood. In my childhood, I have so many memories that I used to remember and talk with everyone. Here
I will share some memories from my childhood. Once we visited one of my uncle’s houses that were about
five hours journey away from our city.

I can remember the whole journey by train. When we arrived there, the uncle came to the station for
receiving us. That was a hill station, I can remember. Then we took a jip that took us to my uncle’s home,
the road was really interesting. I still remember and miss that day.

My childhood memories are like golden time to me. I know, everyone’s childhood is so precious to them.
Here I will share a few of my memories from childhood. Maybe you will find them interesting. I passed my
childhood in a village near Bihar.

My mother was my best friend at that time and she used to teach me the letters. I started my studies with a
book full of pictures. I loved that book a lot and used to see the images in the book. There are several types
of flowers, animals, etc pictures. Then, one day my mother took me to a school near our home.

I was totally afraid because I had no idea what was going on there. Then they took me into the classroom
and that was an extraordinary experience for me. I started another life called student life.  That is my most
important childhood memory.

This is the first day of school. I was spending my childhood in Delhi with my parents. My father was my
best friend and he used to spend most of his time with me. He taught me basic letters and a few poems that I
still can recite. One day he took me to the nearest school.
I knew about that and I was ready mentally, but I was so much excited because I had no idea about what was
going on there. He took me to a room where few teachers were sitting and they asked me a few questions. I
was feeling awkward, but I answered all the questions.

Then he notes my name and admitted me to the school. I went to the class then and I enjoyed a lot. This day
is the best day of my childhood, I can’t forget that day. I will remember this special day always, my whole
life.
My dream career
Hello, my name is Peter. I am 14years old. I am English. I live in London with my parents and two
sisters.I am a calm an intelligent boy. My friends say I am shy but I don’t think so
My dream is to be a teacher in the future because I like teaching and being with people, especially
young people. Teachers play very important roles in a society. Besides instilling knowledge into students,
organizing fun activities to help teenagers’ development, they also need to pass moral value on to next
generation. Therefore, teachers have to be knowledgeable, creative, approachable and passionate. I hope to
be a great teacher like my ideal teacher “Mrs Johns”. I liked to go to school because of her presence. She
used to train with a big smile on her face. She also used to tell very inspiring stories to motivate us to
become the right person in life.
It is not easy to become a good teacher. Therefore, I am going to spend a lot of time studying English
and teaching in schools to improve my teaching skills and make my dream come true.

I still remember my teacher of English at elementary school. She was my Favourite in the
standard one. I liked to go to school because of her presence. She used to train with a big
smile on her face. She also used to make us play various games in between the classes. If
someone cried in the class, she used to crack jokes and make faces so as to make him or her
laugh in no time. She was very lovable but used to punish if anybody didn’t complete their
homework. I was her Favourite student for listening to her, finishing my homework on time
as well as scoring well. She also used to tell very inspiring stories to motivate us to become
the right person in life. All students loved her a lot.
