THE INTERNET HISTORY its origins date back to the 1960s, within harp (now DARPA), in response to the need for this organization to find better ways to use computers at the time, but faced with the problem of the principal investigators and laboratories wishing have their own computers, which was not only costly, but caused a duplication of effort and well born resources.5 ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network or agency network for advanced research projects of the United States) bequeathed to us the layout of an initial network of high-speed communications which were integrated to other governmental institutions and academic networks in the 70's. researchers, scientists, teachers and students benefited from communication with other institutions and colleagues in their field, as well as the ability to access the information available in other academic and research centers. likewise, enjoyed the new ability to publish and make available other information generated in their activities. in July 1961, Leonard Kleinrock at MIT published the first paper on packet switching theory. Kleinrock convinced Roberts of Lawrence theoretical feasibility of communications using packets rather than circuits, which proved to be a breakthrough on the road to networked computer work. the other key step was to make computers talk to each other. to explore this area in 1965, Roberts landed in massachusetts tx2 a computer with a q-32 in California through a switched telephone line of low speed, thus creating the first (albeit small) computer network ever built wide area. INTERNET AND ITS EVOLUTION Initially, the Internet had a clear objective. Surfing the Internet for something very specific: information searches, usually. Now perhaps, but certainly it is more likely to get lost in the network, due to the immense range of possibilities it offers. Today, the sensation of the Internet is a noise, a series of interference, an explosion of different ideas, different people of different thoughts of so many possibilities that can sometimes be excessive. The growth or rather the incorporation of so many people to the network makes the streets of what was originally a small town called Internet become an entire planet extremely connected to each other among all its members. The fact that the Internet has grown so implies a greater amount of virtual relationships between people. we can conclude that when a person has a need for knowledge is not written in books, you can use a source according to your needs. As this source is now possible on the Internet Like every great revolution, the Internet promises a new era of different methods of solving problems created from previous solutions. Some feel that the Internet gives the impression that all no doubt have felt ever, produces the hope that is necessary when you want to get something. It is an awakening of intent than ever before technology had achieved in the population. For some Internet users creates a feeling of closeness, empathy, understanding, and a time of confusion, discussion, struggle and conflict that these users find life itself.

Number of pages It is difficult to establish the exact size of the Internet as it grows continuously and there is no reliable way to access all their content and, therefore, determine its size. i A 2005 study using various search engines (Google, MSN, Yahoo, and Ask Jeeves) estimated that there were 11,500 million Web pages. Another 2008 study estimated that the amount had risen to 63,000 million web pages. To estimate this amount is used by the various websites indexed by search engines, but this method does not cover every page online. Using this criterion Internet can be divided into: i Internet superficial: Includes services indexed by search engines. i Internet profound: Includes other services not indexed as Flash pages, password protected pages inaccessible to spiders, and so on. It is estimated that the size of the deep Web is several orders of magnitude greater than the surface Web.

INTERNET ACCESS Internet includes about 5,000 networks around the world and more than 100 different protocols based on TCP / IP, which is configured as network protocol. Services available in the global network of PCs, have progressed a lot from the new technologies of high speed transmission, as ADSLy Wireless, has managed to unite people with videoconferencing, view satellite images (see your house from the sky) observe the world through webcams, free phone calls, or enjoy a multiplayer game in 3D, a good book, PDF, or albums and movies for download. The Internet access method in effect for several years, basic telephony, has been gradually being replaced by faster and stable connections, including ADSL, Cable Modems, or ISDN. They have also appeared forms of access through the grid, and even satellite (usually only for download, although the possibility of two-way protocol using the DVB-RS). Internet is also available in many public places like libraries, bars, restaurants, hotels, cafes and even shopping malls. A new way to access without a fixed wireless networks in airports now present underground universities and entire populations.

ADVANTAGES OF INTERNET Much of connection services provide resources such as encyclopedias, news, access to libraries and other educational materials of value, useful services to the education of our children. This is the softer side, useful and educational network and the Internet that turns into a tool of high educational value. Moreover, the computer and telecommunications in particular offer tremendous ease of access to all types of events, people and information anywhere in the world. Users can get information about the topic they wish without movement or steps. This is doubly attractive as well as useful, the Internet away from the television or video game, which provides the child with information he absorbed passively. Moving through seas of information and different possibilities, the Internet provides the opportunity to participate actively communicating with other children of the world or choose which types of information or wish to access distractions. The boy becomes an active explorer of knowledge and are his will and thirst for knowledge that will move and guide you through the virtual ocean. Internet Risks However, it is these same attractions that can be sometimes harmful. The fascination that causes them to go from one place to another with a flick of the finger can generate an almost compulsive curiosity. The immediacy with which running course changes in the network, we created an urgent need for gratification and constant feedback. Failure to successfully achieve this can cause anxiety and nervousness. Other risk factors should not overlook is that they can access content and graphic materials unsuitable for children, sex, violence, drugs -. We also warn our children about the dangers that can lead to the fact that, unconsciousness, or provide personal information to someone else's family on the occasion of a meeting for chat, or other means. Finally, if you are subscribed to a website - especially if they are content sites unsuitable for children, and regularly receive their newsletters by email, try that your children will not have access to
