 Research Project: Comparative Analysis of DSRC and LTE-V
 Designed an analytical model comparing two vehicular networking technologies.
 Simulation based environment using NS3 (version 3.19) Network Simulator was used to
evaluate the efficiency of IEEE 802.11p and LTE-V on the basis of explorable parameters
(Throughput and Delay).
 NS3 is an open-source discrete event simulator, primary targeted for research and
education purposes.
 Simulations was carried out in Ubuntu 14.04.
 Results derived from performance evaluation wascompared.
 Comparison was used to identify a suitable technology for different vehicularsafety applications, such
as road safety, traffic efficiency and infotainment applications.
