Sofía Daccarett Char (born April 10, 1993),[1][2] known professionally as Sofia Carson,


is an American actress and singer. Her first appearance on television was as a guest
star on the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally. In 2015, she received recognition as
Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen, in the Disney Channel Original
Movie Descendants. She later reprised her role in its two sequels and other work in
the franchise.
Carson has since starred in the films Adventures in Babysitting (2016), Tini: The
Movie (2016), A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits (2016) and Songbird (2020). She also
starred as Ava Jalali in the Freeform drama series Pretty Little Liars: The
Perfectionists (2019). As a voice actress, she also had roles in My Little Pony: A New
Generation (2021) as Pipp Petals and in Spider-Man (2017) as Keemia Marko /
Sandgirl. She also starred in the Netflix films Feel the Beat (2020) and Purple
Hearts (2022).
Carson made her singing debut in 2015 with the soundtrack album Descendants, and in
the same year released the single "Rotten to the Core". In 2016, she signed
to Hollywood Records, and released her debut single, "Love Is the Name". In 2022, she
released her eponymous debut studio album.
