Family Resource Project Part 3 melissa allamon

For my Family Resource Handout project, I designed a brochure for families entering the IEP process. It
gave them an idea of what do expect, during this overwhelming process. I shared four resources the
family can use to learn more information about IEP’s and talk to other family’s that are going through
the same experience. I have met NAEYC Standard 6e by joining NAEYC membership and using the
benefits of membership to help advocate for young children, learning new skills and ideas to help the
family, and reaching out to other teachers for feedback.
