To help you reflect on the short documentary of the Stanford Prison Experiment, meet with your group and
discuss the following four questions with your group members.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  

1. If you were a guard, what type of guard would you have become? How sure are you?

2. If you were a prisoner, would you have acted similarly or differently than these prisoners? Why?

3. Do you think that the behavior of the guards might have changed if one guard would have stood up and
said “hey, we can’t treat them this way”? Why or why not?

4. Do you think that the behavior of the prisoners might have changed if one other prisoner would have joined
in with the dissenting prisoner? Why or why not?
