Hi Deanna,

I hope all is well. An issue has been brought to my attention concerning the project budget.
There has been an update to the tablet contract which will increase the cost of the tablets for
the rollout.

The tablet vendor will switch from charging a one-time fee of $200 per tablet, to a monthly
subscription service of $300 for all tablets, the software, 24/7 support and customization.
Instead of $8000 for all 40 tablets paid once, it will cost $3600 every year going forward. This is a
significant change and it will impact our company OKR of keeping our operating expenses below
65% and our profit margins above 8% to provide high-quality food. Accepting the new contract
terms will prevent us from closing the project within budget.

I would need your decision about accepting or rejecting this contract update from the supplier.
Please find enclosed the amended contract with changes.
