Pokey the Friendly Cactus

Supplies
Yarn - DK weight
Polyfil
F Hook
Yarn Needle
Mini Clay Pot
Hot glue gun and hot glue

Terms
Leave tail long enough to close end
Chain – Ch
Single Crochet – Sc
Backloop Single Crochet – BlSc
Stitch

Pattern :
Ch 16
Row 1- sc in 2nd chain from the hook and across. – 15 stitches
Row 2- ch 1 then backloop sc in each st to the end
Row 3-20- Repeat row 2

To start finishing fold piece in half and sc together. Take tail and weave around the top and pull
to close end one and then tie off and weave in end. Stuff piece with polyfil and then weave
other tail to pull closed and then finish by tucking in and weaving end in. Hot glue into pot.

To finish mine I also took pieces of white yarn to tie in pieces for the spines of a cactus. Now
you have a no muss no fuss plant for your home or office.
