Dear Bruno,

This is an informative email for all new staff at Stamfold College.

Before you start your role, all new staff members are required to attend a two-day orientation class
which will be held on May 14 and 15.

On the day of the class, please go to the reception area. You will be required to complete a form with
your personal details and you will be given a college pass. At Stamfold College, we have tight security
on the college campus, and no members of the public are allowed access to the buildings. As a member
of the staff, you will be given a unique member pass which allows you free access to all staff areas and
classrooms at the college. Please keep this pass safe, and you must not allow anybody else to use it.

You may leave any valuables and coats in the reception area. Please be aware that you may not use your
cell phone during the classes, so you may leave it in reception if you wish.

The morning session starts at 10 a.m. Before the session starts, we offer tea, coffee, and snacks in the
café area, on the left of the conference room. Please come and have refreshments. You may take your
drinks into the conference room. Please note that you shouldn’t eat during the sessions. Sandwiches will
be provided for lunch, and you are invited to a dinner on Tuesday evening.

There is no dress code, but please remember that you are now a member of the staff, so business casual
dress would be appropriate.

Later today we will send a full agenda for the two days, along with information about the restaurant for
Tuesday evening, and a form about special dietary requirements.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Kind regards,

Sandy Mansini
