IMPORTANCE OF LEARNIG ENGLISH

A teenager was standing on one side of a road watching a scooter gang on the
other side. The traffic light turned green. The teenager ran across the road and
was about to touch the scooter when an old man appeared in front of him. The
teenager stopped and held his breathe in fear. The scooter gang looking at the old
man moved forward. The teenaged showed the old man an angry look, a vision of
his fear, his old age curtained his anger to fear. The old man gave a welcoming
smile. The teenager had to come out of the fear to see the reality: the old man was
standing in front of a shop which was closed. The shopkeeper was standing on the
roadside. The teenager kept his hands on place on his body but looked skywards.

‘Sir, you are blocking way on the road. Mind told you please go inside to shop.’

The old man nodded in answer to the shopkeeper and walked towards the shop.
The teenager let his hands come down and helped the shopkeeper clear the shop
and move it further down the street. Then the teenager helped the shopkeeper
close the shop. A video camera was recording the whole scene. The teenager took
the shopkeeper’s help to measure the shop and move it to the shop’s space.

‘Sir! I cannot commit these shops for you. While my neighbor needs this shop for
his business and will be double more harm with these shops. Only street traders
may sell their goods in the road.’

The old man looked at the shopkeeper and placed his hands on his shoulders with
great respect. ‘I believe in hearth and home.
