Mock Interview FBA OA Crash Course

Interview Questions 101

1. TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF THAT IS NOT IN YOUR RESUME.
2. TELL ME ABOUT YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE.
3. HOW DO YOU DO YOUR SOURCING & WHAT TOOLS DO YOU USE?
4. LET'S SAY YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY (GOD FORBID) & YOU HAVE NOT
FINISHED YOUR TARGET DEALS PER DAY WHICH IS 10 DEALS. WHAT ARE YOU
GOING TO DO? HOW WILL YOU INFORM YOUR CLIENT?
5. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WORKING UNPAID EXTRA HOURS?
6. WE ACTUALLY HAVE A LOT OF APPLICANTS NOW, CAN YOU CONVINCE ME
WHY WE SHOULD HIRE YOU?

INTERVIEW TIPS:

1. SHOW UP ON YOUR INTERVIEW WITH A POSITIVE MINDSET, SHOW THEM

YOU'RE CONFIDENT, COURTEOUS & COMFORTABLE.

> Attend an interview with a positive mindset. Ung tipong ala Ms.
Universe na confident with a heart. I know nakakakaba talaga, pero
overcome the fear & anxiety, inhale, exhale. 3x :)

Seriously, I always think na makukuha ko ung job (and I claim it

in Jesus' name & it works 95% for me) prior to interview kya di
ako ganun ka kabado. Saka just relax, be comfortable, be yourself
(but not too much dn ung swabe lng) ung usual questions nman
common sense lng ang sagot. Di nman sila mga square root of X or
mga theories of evolution eklavu. :D

Basically they just want to get to know us, they want to know if
you're fit for the position. Be confident, calm & smile, let them
feel your sincerity. Let them know na aside from getting paid, you
want to help them grow the company. Ung isa sa fave motto ko is
"Choose a job you love, so you don't work a day in your life".
Turo yan ng lola ko & effective ever since. hahaha. Treat every
work well & try to have fun, then money will eventually follow.

2. PREPARE AHEAD OF TIME

> I always prepare myself ahead of the interview. 30 mins.prior to

interview ready na ang lola nyo. Nka set up na ung webcam &
headset & tested na if gumagana. Nag install ako ng Krisp para ma
lessen ung ingay kc mga anak ko bongga sa ingay. Ung free
extension lng. Up to 2 hrs xa gagana. Then I also prepare myself,
especially kung alam ko na Pinoy ung mg iinterview (like sa RW &
now sa FastTrackFBA n dn, hello, kaway kaway Ms. Anne) medyo
presentable nman tayo dpat konting lipstick at kilay sa girls then
ung background ayusin (kung Skype pde nmang lagyan ng background).
No need nman na nka corporate attire pa. Madalas pantaas lng
matino sa akin. hahaha. I know alam nyo na ito. Then ung mindset
importante tlga. Ahead of time nag research n ako ng possible &
usual questions. Pra di ako off guard pag tinanong ako. Questions
like:
1. TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF OR TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT
YOURSELF THAT IS NOT IN YOUR RESUME.
> you can tell them briefly (as in short lng kc more words more
mistakes) about your family like if you're married & how many kids
(but assure them na kht may kids keri mong magwork kc mnsan may
employers na ayaw nla un, pero sa RW keri nman), then maybe your
hobby, pero as in 1-2 max. 3 sentences lng.
Sample:
I'm married with 3 kids. I was a public school teacher turned
product sourcer. I love to cook when I don't have work (smile)

Pls.wag mo na ikwento ung ibang topic na di related. May ibang na

interview na pati educational background nla san nag college, HS &
elem. ikinwento tlga. kaloka. Make it short but concise.

2. TELL ME ABOUT YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE.

> magkwento ka kung ano ung nasa resume mo, but don't over do it
kc kasunod nun bakit ka umalis dun? Kya ung resume mo dapat long
term ung work mo. Pde nman dagdagan di nman nla i-verify lahat un.
Sa skills nman malalaman nla kung may alam ka tlga o wla at pampa
pogi/ganda lng ung CV mo.

3. WHY DID YOU LEAVE YOUR LAST JOB OR WHY DO YOU PLAN TO LEAVE
YOUR CURRENT JOB?
> this is a make or break question so think this through in
advance. Make it seem na love mo ung last job mo pero you were
underpaid (but don't make your old boss look like a monster
though), or you want to try another niche kc gusto mo pang mag
grow ung career mo. Pde ding dahil sa COVID nag close muna ng
business c client kya need mo ng new work. BASTA DON'T FORGET NA
DAPAT DI KA MULTIPLE CLIENT. This is for RW & FastTrack FBA ha? Kc
sa Code of Ethics nla nka state dun na 1 client lng dpat tau. Pero
hello, kung keri pa nman natin why not di ba? Alangan nman cla lng
ung kumita. Sa hirap ng buhay now, we need to get double even
triple jobs pa nga. Bsta put yourself in the interviewer's
position, kung ung sagot mo ba eh panalo para i-hire ka nla. My
sample answers are these:

* I love my previous job, my client was really nice but it was

just a part-time work (make sure stated sa CV) & I wanted a more
stable & permanent/full time work so here I am (with a smile) :D

* I enjoyed working with my client before but it was a GY shift, I

heard your company offers a day time job & I'm interested because
I want to get more sleep at night (char!)

* My previous work was nice but I wanted to work on a better

schedule with better pay. I know work is not just all about money
but practically speaking it's why we work in the first place. But
I can assure you that I will make it your money's worth
Mga ganern..bahala na kau basta make sure na it would be a plus
point for you.

4. WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU?

> Sa wala pa nmang experience sa job or niche na ito, ito nman ung
winning answer ko palagi (ibahin nyo nlng ung wording or pde nyo
dn gayahin)
* I really want to work with your company because I believe I can
make a difference for you. I may not have the experience but the
best I can offer you is my willingness to learn & my dedication to
help your company grow. I can assure you that I can be an asset to
your company if you'd just give me the chance to prove it. Oh di
ba pang Ms. U. hahaha

5. IF YOU GET HIRED & SINCE YOU'RE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT 10 DEALS PER
DAY AND IT'S ALREADY PAST THE CUT-OFF TIME & YOU STILL ARE SHORT
OF YOUR TARGET. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
> I'll always do my best to submit on time but if for any reason
I'm unable to do so, I'd gladly render unpaid overtime to cover
for my lack of leads/finds.

4. ADDITIONAL TIPS:
> Always thank the interviewer for the time & opportunity
> Tell him/her that you're looking forward to working with them
Example.
Thank you Ms.__/Sir for the time & opportunity. I look forward to
working with you (Smile)

God bless!
