Installation from Terminal

Download the module:

wget http://www.bakoma-tex.com/dist/bakoma-tex-1180-181018.tar.xz
Unpack archive:
tar -xvf bakoma-tex-1180-181018.tar.xz
Run installation script in one of two ways:
bakoma-tex-1180-181018/install.sh --local
sudo bakoma-tex-1180-181018/install.sh --share
This script can install BaKoMa TeX into shared folder /opt/bakoma or user folder
$HOME/opt/bakoma
Compatible Distributions
This is 64 bit version for Linux. If you need 32 bit version consider use of V
11.41.

There is list of linux distributions under which BaKoMa TeX 11.53/180303 was
successfully tested.

Build on OpenSUSE/Leap 42.2, Ubuntu 16.04 / 64 bit
Build with wxWidgets 3.10 (2017/10/10) build in GTK2 mode
Included libs: libpng (for compatibility with U1710).
Size of installation package ~ 27 MB (.tar.xz)
Uninstall BaKoMa TeX
To uninstall BaKoMa TeX installed locally just remove it:
rm -rf ~/opt/bakoma
rm ~/.local/share/applications/bakoma-*
To uninstall BaKoMa TeX installed globally just remove it:

sudo rm -rf /opt/bakoma

sudo rm /usr/share/applications/bakoma-*
Also it may be desired to clear local user folder:

rm -rf ~/.bakoma
Limitations of Linux version:
Print is not supported.
TeX4HT not included - Export HTML4 isn't supported (use Export SVG + HTML).
Configure Font Families supports (V 11.63) only TeX Fonts.
Package Manager not included - automatical package installation works well.
