Minutes of the Meeting during the Division GAD Convergence last February 14, 2022

Topics and Issues discussed;

1.The Duties & Roles of the District GAD Focal
*For Collection and Consolidation of District Reports
*Information dissemination
*Coordination to the Quadrant GAD Focal
2. The Duties & Roles of the School GAD Focal
*GAD Program School-based Implementers
*Preparation of GAD Plan/Action Plan and Accomplishment Reports
*Preparation of GAD Budget proposal for PPAs
*Coordinates with the School Head and teaching and non-teaching personnel
On GAD related PPAs
*Open Communication with the School Head especially in the inclusion of GAD PPAs with allotted budget in the
AIP/SIP
(Take note that GAD Program is being liquidated by COA and it is a mandate to implement its PPAs with budget
allocation)
*Inform the School Head on the GAD Plan and the budget allocation
(5% budget for GAD PPAs is just a minimum, you can exceed the budget allocation percentage if necessary,
provided there is a clear or concrete evidence/s presented)

3. GAD Programs, Projects and Activities

*Please try to secure PPAs related to Gender and development
(there are issues that other PPAs are not related to GAD but it is included in the GAD plan, so please take note on
that)
4. Computation of Budget allocation per PPAs
(Below is the formula/format of the computation)

*Take note that the budget allocation depends on the participants position (as to T1-T3, P1-P4 etc.), the number of
participants and the days of the activity.
5. Submission of GAD PLAN and BUDGET PROPOSAL FOR 2022
*I will be sending the Templates (samples from the division office) in our Culianan District GAD GC
* Deadline of Submission to the Division Office will be on FEBRUARY 28,2022
*Due of your GAD PLAN and Budget to the Culianan District Gad Focal will be on FEBRUARY 25, 2022 (FRIDAY)
and send it to our GC or to my messenger account.

Insights to ponder!

Let us try to work on Weekdays and avoid working on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekends are
for Self, Family and special acquaintances. We need to Balance Life, Family and Work.
But, in the exigency of Service we can extend our working days.
