Today is a special day because it is our graduation day. We succeeded!
There is indeed light in every darkness. There were times wherein we have felt
that we are completely covered in black. Through the years, we’ve experienced
problems and family feuds. "Di pa jud na diba? As the pioneers of K to 12 program, na
extend ug 2 years atuang pag skwela. Then, nagka pandemya tapos gibagyong Odette
pa gajud! But we triumphed; we rose from the ashes. We hoped to find light in the midst
of the darkness, and we did.
Today we celebrate the light and hope. We have demonstrated that we have
learned, and now it is time to put that knowledge to use. As we leave in our academic
regalia, we can reflect on the work we've done and see evidence of great teaching, new
skills learned, and new passions discovered.
Let us take a moment to pat ourselves on the back for a job well done, for
making it this far into the learning process. So, to my fellow graduates, we're leaving
today for new adventures, and remember this verse from Jeremiah 29:11 , "For I know
the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm
you, plans to give you hope and a future." Again, welcome, congratulations and may the
Almighty Lord Bless us all!
