The term nursing competence for me refers to a variety of professional skills and knowledge as well as

individual values, ideas, and beliefs into nursing practice. Nurse performance evaluation heavily relies
on nursing competence. To produce high quality medical results, a skilled nurse must the nurses skills.
All nurse specialties have the same abilities. Therefore, in order to be assured a valid nurse license, a
nurse practitioner must comprehend and use these competences in practice. To enhance a
community's overall health condition, nurse competences are used at various levels of the community
like leadership, ethics and many more an example is leadership all students must demonstrate
leadership competency to demonstrate that they are aware of their responsibilities as team leaders
and how to conduct themselves ethically when managing a group of healthcare professionals. The
issue of effective communication skills and the many cultures that surround nurses in their everyday
activities are also addressed by leadership competency. I would be able to develop exceptional
decision making, communication, and problem solving abilities through this expertise. As a result, I
would be able to run community health initiatives successfully.
