Question:
What are the three (3) Human Faculties? Explain each. And how are
these faculties used in art analysis?

Answer:
Mind - The mind is the set of faculties responsible for mental
phenomena. Often the term is also identified with the phenomena
themselves. These faculties include thought, imagination, memory, will
and sensation.

Body - Body art is concerned with issues of gender and personal

identity. A major theme is the relationship of body and mind, explored
in work consisting of feats of physical endurance designed to evaluate
the limits of the body and the ability of the mind to suffer pain.

Emotions - Emotions are mental states brought on by

neurophysiological changes, variously associated with thoughts,
feelings, behavioral responses, and a degree of pleasure or displeasure.
There is currently no scientific consensus on a definition.
