Login as administrator (2140) and minimize normal CMS screen.

Double click YardTool and follow instruction below.


Open YardTool and choose local site.
In this case Congo terminal.

You should see correct map path and Che ID and IP after that.
In Congo it is c:/Maps.

If IP address does not show on bottom line, click IP with mouse’s left button.

Then click Connect and YardTool will open and you should see the Main page.

Go to service page and click file upload

Select chef-file from usb-stick and press open.


When software is uploaded you should see “done” message.

YardTool will automatically overwrite old software with new one.
You can now close YardTool.

After any changes on GPS computer memory card, new checksum has to be
calculated. This is really important since software will not start automatically if
checksum doesn't match!

For checksum updates you need to open PuTTY software, icon is located to desktop.

When you open that software, it should have saved session named RTG.
Select it and press open.

When you open PuTTY it will ask login name and password, type those as below;

Login = savcor
Password = savcor1one

After login you need to go to correct folder, type cd /mnt/xtra


Then give command to calculate new checksum;
./app.shb md5 >MD5.txt and press enter

Now checksum is updated and new software will start after next reboot.

You can reboot software with following commands;

./app.shb stop  will shutdown software

./app.shb startf  will start software
