Tiny house movement

The tiny-house movement is an architectural and social movement that advocates for
downsizing living spaces and get rid of unnecessary amenities. Tiny houses emphasize
design over size, utilize multi-functional furniture, and incorporate space saving equipment
and appliances.

If we look at the big picture, there are some reasons for carry out the idea of living in a tiny
house. Many people who go through this lifestyle rethink what they value in life and put
more effort into get along with their families and communities, healing the environment,
or saving money.

But living in small houses is not a bed of roses. It has some drawbacks that we can’t sweep
under the rug. One of the biggest obstacles is the difficulty in finding a place because of
zoning regulations. On the other hand, tiny houses are impractical spaces to raising
families. Overcrowding and lack of space could turn people into a basket case.

Although it would be nice to wake up looking at nature, moving into a tiny house is not
suitable for those of us who live in big cities. The people of Bogotá are already in a bed of
nails due the lack of space in their apartments, and those who have families try to look for
the more spacious home they can afford. It would be easier for retirees to take the plunge.
To lay my cards on the table, I prefer to put off that decision.
