In my opinion, the note-taking method that would capture the essence of the video best would be
the concept mapping method. It starts with the central concept of the perfect speech then
branches out to the main points that make up a perfect speech. These main topics such as the
“Speaker”, “Telling a story”, “Keep it real”, etc. of the video will then have details under each
that will explain each topic or step better. Since each topic also uses keywords and short
statements, using a concept map will be more efficient because short yet descriptive words are
used in this method. It will help the reader understand the topic easier.
